Global Integrated Care International (GIC)
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
1 Who We Are
Global Integrated Care Inc., Corporation No. 1780503-9, operates Global Integrated Care International (“GIC”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
GIC develops and operates governance-mediated Artificial Intelligence infrastructure for consequential human-service environments, serving Seekers and Providers across sectors.
GIC respects the privacy of people and organizations that visit our websites, communicate with us, apply to participate in our activities, or use GIC information, demonstration and service environments.
This Privacy Policy explains how GIC may collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal information, the choices and rights that may be available to individuals, and the principles GIC applies when information is handled within its governance-mediated Artificial Intelligence environments.
GIC is committed to handling personal information in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements, including Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where those laws apply.
Artificial Intelligence capability does not create authority over personal information. GIC’s governance architecture is designed to maintain defined human-controlled boundaries around authorization, scope, monitoring, escalation and continued operation.
2 Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy provides the general privacy framework for GIC-operated websites, digital environments, demonstrations and services.
It may also apply, where identified as appropriate, to affiliated GIC entities and related initiatives, including Tri-Alliance International Inc.
The existence of a common privacy framework does not mean that every affiliated entity has the same legal responsibilities in every circumstance. Where an affiliated entity independently determines how and why personal information is processed, that entity may act as a separate controller, responsible organization or other legally accountable party under applicable law.
A particular service, jurisdiction, application, demonstration or affiliated entity may therefore provide additional privacy information or a more specific privacy notice. Where that occurs, the more specific notice should be read together with this Policy.
3 Information We May Collect
The information GIC may collect depends on how a person or organization interacts with us.
Information provided directly to GIC may include a person’s name and contact information; organization, professional role or institutional affiliation; information submitted through enquiries, applications, participation requests or correspondence; information voluntarily provided when requesting a demonstration, briefing or other GIC service; information provided by prospective or participating Seekers, Providers, researchers, evaluators, governance participants, institutional partners or other authorized users; and communications sent to GIC by email or through an approved GIC contact mechanism.
Technical information may include Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser and device information, date and time of access, pages or services requested, and technical, security and system-event information reasonably required to operate, protect, diagnose or verify GIC systems.
GIC seeks to limit collection to information reasonably required for the relevant purpose and does not intend to collect personal information merely because it may be technically possible to do so.
Where applicable law considers particular information to be sensitive or subject to special protection, additional requirements may apply.
4 Conversational Artificial Intelligence, Heather, Mary and Demonstration Environments
GIC uses conversational Artificial Intelligence environments, including Heather for Seekers and Mary for Providers, as part of its governance-mediated infrastructure.
Information entered, spoken or otherwise provided during a conversational interaction may need to be processed by GIC systems and authorized technology service providers in order to generate, transmit or present the requested interaction.
An Artificial Intelligence model may process information and provide useful intelligent functionality, but it does not thereby become the authority responsible for determining its own authorization, scope, monitoring, escalation, retention or continued operation.
Where a conversational environment is a demonstration, research or evaluation environment rather than a production service, GIC will seek to identify that status to the user.
Users should not submit unnecessary highly sensitive personal information to a demonstration environment unless GIC has expressly requested and authorized that information for the particular purpose.
GIC does not treat a model-generated statement that information has been deleted, stored, transmitted or otherwise acted upon as independent evidence that the action occurred. Where such matters are consequential, GIC’s governance architecture is designed to rely on appropriate system or human-controlled evidence.
5 Cookies, Analytics and Basic Website Operation
GIC does not presently use advertising cookies or deliberately operate visitor-tracking analytics on its public-facing GIC website for behavioural advertising or commercial profiling.
Basic technical information may nevertheless be processed by GIC’s hosting environment, security systems or service providers as part of normal website delivery, security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and system administration.
Some GIC pages may link to or incorporate services provided by third parties. Those services may apply their own cookies, technical identifiers or privacy practices when a user accesses them. Their processing is governed by their applicable privacy notices.
If GIC introduces material new cookie, analytics or tracking functionality, this Privacy Policy and any required notice or consent mechanism will be updated accordingly.
6 How We Use Information
GIC may use personal information only for purposes that are reasonably connected to the context in which the information was provided or otherwise lawfully obtained.
Depending on the interaction, GIC may use information to respond to enquiries and correspondence; provide requested information, demonstrations, briefings or services; administer applications, expressions of interest and participation processes; support Seeker and Provider pathways; operate, maintain, secure and improve GIC websites, systems and governance-mediated environments; authenticate users, sessions or authorized participants where appropriate; support security, incident response and system integrity; generate appropriate operational records, telemetry and governance evidence; evaluate system performance, reliability, accessibility and multilingual operation; support authorized research, evaluation, governance review and accountability processes; communicate with stakeholders; comply with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual or professional obligations; establish, exercise or defend legal rights; and protect the rights, safety and security of GIC, its users and others.
GIC seeks to avoid using personal information for purposes incompatible with the reason it was originally collected unless there is an appropriate legal basis, additional notice or consent where required.
Personal information is not treated as a resource that an Artificial Intelligence model may independently repurpose simply because the model has technical access to it.
7 Legal Bases for Processing
Privacy and data-protection laws differ between jurisdictions. Where applicable law requires GIC to identify a legal basis for processing personal information, that basis will depend upon the purpose and circumstances of the processing.
Depending upon the situation, GIC may rely on consent; performance of a contract or steps requested before entering into a contract; compliance with legal obligations; legitimate interests that are not overridden by applicable individual rights and freedoms; protection of vital interests in limited circumstances; or another lawful basis recognized by the relevant jurisdiction.
Where GIC relies on consent, an individual may have the right to withdraw that consent, subject to applicable law and without affecting the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Where GIC processes information that is legally considered sensitive or a special category of personal information, additional legal requirements may apply. GIC will seek to process such information only where there is an appropriate lawful basis and where processing is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
8 Sharing With Service Providers and Other Parties
GIC does not sell personal information.
GIC is not in the business of selling personal information to third parties.
GIC does not disclose personal information merely because another organization, technology provider or Artificial Intelligence system requests access to it.
Personal information may be disclosed or made available where reasonably necessary for an authorized purpose and subject to applicable legal, contractual, security and governance requirements.
Depending on the activity involved, recipients may include technology and infrastructure providers supplying hosting, cloud, Artificial Intelligence processing, speech, communications, security or technical services; affiliated GIC entities where information is reasonably required for an authorized operational, administrative or governance purpose; authorized research, evaluation or governance participants whose access is limited to their assigned function; professional advisers such as legal, accounting, insurance, compliance or security advisers; governmental, regulatory or legal authorities where disclosure is legally required or otherwise lawfully necessary; and parties involved in a lawful merger, financing, restructuring, acquisition or transfer of relevant operations.
Service providers do not become the governing authority over GIC information merely because they provide technical infrastructure or Artificial Intelligence capability.
Where third-party technology is used, GIC seeks to define the permitted purpose, access and role of that provider and to avoid unnecessary disclosure of personal information.
Where a third-party service has its own independent legal obligations or independently determines certain aspects of processing, that provider’s privacy terms may also apply.
9 International Data Transfers
GIC operates in an international environment and may use service providers, infrastructure or affiliated entities located in different countries.
As a result, personal information may be processed or stored outside the country in which it was originally collected.
Where personal information is transferred across borders, GIC seeks to ensure that the transfer is made in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements and that appropriate contractual, organizational, technical or other safeguards are used where required.
Privacy and data-protection laws in another country may differ from those of an individual’s home jurisdiction, and information processed in another country may be subject to lawful access by courts, regulators or governmental authorities in that jurisdiction.
Where a particular GIC service involves international data transfers requiring additional notice, consent or transfer safeguards, GIC will seek to provide that information in connection with the relevant service or environment.
10 Retention
GIC seeks to retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for legitimate operational or governance requirements, or as required by applicable law.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information, service involved, legal requirements, contractual obligations, security needs, governance evidence requirements and the nature of the relationship with the individual or organization.
Certain records may need to be retained to provide or administer an ongoing service or relationship, maintain security and accountability records, support governance or verification requirements, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, or establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
When personal information is no longer reasonably required, GIC seeks to delete it, anonymize it or otherwise place it outside ordinary operational use, subject to applicable legal and technical requirements.
GIC does not claim that information has been deleted, expired or removed unless that outcome is supported by appropriate evidence.
Where third-party technology providers process information on GIC’s behalf, their retention practices may also affect how long information remains within their systems. GIC seeks to understand and document relevant provider retention arrangements before relying on claims of deletion or expiry.
11 Security
GIC takes reasonable technical, organizational and governance measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
Depending on the relevant system or service, safeguards may include access controls, role-based permissions, authentication and authorization controls, encrypted communications including HTTPS/TLS where appropriate, monitoring and telemetry, system and event logging, controlled access to confidential information, incident-response procedures, backup and recovery planning, and evidence and verification mechanisms designed to distinguish a claimed action from an independently verified action.
GIC’s governance approach recognizes that:
Similarly, a statement produced by an Artificial Intelligence model that an action was completed, blocked, deleted or secured is not by itself treated as authoritative evidence that the action occurred.
No method of electronic transmission, storage or processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure. GIC therefore seeks to combine technical safeguards with human-controlled governance, monitoring, verification and accountability.
If GIC becomes aware of a privacy or security incident involving personal information, GIC will assess the incident and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the incident.
Where applicable law requires notification or reporting of a privacy or security breach, GIC will make the required notifications or reports within the applicable legal framework.
12 Your Privacy Rights
Privacy and data-protection rights differ between jurisdictions. Depending on where an individual is located and which law applies, a person may have rights to request access to personal information concerning them; request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information; request deletion where applicable; request restriction of certain processing; object to certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; request portability where applicable; ask for information about how and why personal information is processed; and lodge a complaint with an applicable privacy or data-protection authority.
Not every right applies in every circumstance. Applicable law may permit or require GIC to retain certain information despite a request for deletion, including where information is required for legal obligations, security, governance evidence, dispute resolution or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal rights.
Privacy requests may be directed to:
Privacy Contact / Privacy OfficerGlobal Integrated Care Inc.info@globalintegrated.careGIC may take reasonable steps to verify the identity and authority of a person making a privacy request before disclosing, correcting or deleting personal information.
GIC will seek to respond to valid privacy requests within the period required by applicable law.
13 Children and Minors
GIC’s general public websites and governance, institutional and demonstration environments are not designed as services directed specifically to young children.
GIC does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children where such collection would require parental, guardian or other authorization that has not been obtained.
Where a particular GIC service is intended to involve children or minors, appropriate age-related notices, consent requirements, safeguards and jurisdiction-specific protections should be established for that service before personal information is collected.
A parent, guardian or other authorized person who believes that a child has provided personal information to GIC in circumstances where it should not have been collected may contact:
info@globalintegrated.careGIC will review the circumstances and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.

15 Changes to This Privacy Policy
GIC may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its services, technology, governance arrangements, legal requirements or privacy practices.
When the policy is updated, the revised version will display a new “Last updated” date.
Where a change materially affects how personal information is collected, used, disclosed or otherwise processed, GIC will seek to provide additional notice where required by applicable law or appropriate in the circumstances.
Changes to this Privacy Policy do not retrospectively create authority for processing that was not lawfully authorized when it occurred.
Closing Principle
Privacy, like AI governance, depends on enforceable boundaries rather than promises alone.
